CUCKOO International (MAL) BERHAD is seeking an Operations Assistant for Branch Audit under CUCKOO Technical Service. You will support end-to-end service operations, conduct branch audits, monitor performance, and help enhance efficiency across Malaysia.

The role also covers digital engagement, planning and coordinating corporate events, and providing back-end and admin support for new branch openings. Travel across Malaysia and own transport are preferred attributes.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Service Management, Marketing, Hospitality or related field.
• Strong verbal and written communication in Bahasa Malaysia and English.

Responsibilities

• Conduct routine branch visits to perform operational audits and monitor service performance.
• Analyze data and propose operational enhancements.
• Oversee and maintain social media channels ensuring accuracy and timeliness of posts.
• Structure and execute operational service planning and back-end support activities.
• Take ownership of monthly team meetings, corporate events and internal activities.
• Provide administrative support during new branch openings and general workflows.

Job description

Operations Assistant - Branch Audit (CUCKOO Technical Service)

Responsible for managing end-to-end service organization operations, branch auditing, compliance

monitoring, event coordination, and providing multi-faceted sales and administrative support to optimize

service quality and team efficiency.

Likes to travel (across malaysia) & possess own transport

Can be the bridge PIC between HQ and technician team.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

(1) Branch Auditing, Operations & Enhancement Analysis

Conduct routine branch visits to execute comprehensive operational audits,

monitor service performance, and identify localized organizational issues.

Perform data analysis and feasibility studies to propose and implement

required operational enhancements.

(2) Digital Engagement

Oversee and maintain the organization's social media channels, ensuring all

published information is precise and up-to-date.

(3) Support, Planning & Corporate Events

Structure, organize, and execute operational service planning and back-end

support activities.

Take primary ownership of planning and executing monthly team meetings,

corporate events, and internal group activities.

(4) Branch Expansion & Core Administration

Provide localized administrative support during new branch openings,

official corporate letter preparations, and general administrative workflows.

Actively contribute to the collective team effort to ensure targeted

departmental outcomes are consistently achieved.

(5) Operational Agility & Management Ad-hoc

Execute flexible ad-hoc support tasks assigned by management from time

to time.

Provide day-to-day general support to ensure smooth workflows across the

broader Service Organization.

Contribute to the team's collective effort by achieving relevant outcomes as

required.

Job Requirements

Education: Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Service Management, Marketing,

Hospitality, or any related field. (Minimum SPM/STPM/Pre-U with strong relevant experience

Language Proficiency : Excellent verbal and written communication skills in Bahasa Malaysia and English.

Professional Experience : Preferably 1-2 years of proven working experience in a related field.

Prior experience specializing in Event Management, Service Operations, Quality Audits, or Sales & Marketing

Support is highly preferred.

Technical & Management Skills : Advanced Microsoft Excel skills (competent in data compilation, sorting, and analytical functions like VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, and basic charts).

Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Microsoft PowerPoint for documentation and presentations.

Personal & Interpersonal skills : Confident Communicator: Capable of managing customer escalations and communicating clearly with branch supervisors.

Creative Thinking: Competent in basic content writing and thinking creatively for internal events. Self-Motivated & Agility: Strong capacity to multi-task, prioritize critical tasks, and manage time effectively under minimal supervision.
