Job Responsibilities
- To assist the General Manager on related matters concerning the Consultants and relief of duty of General Manager in his/her absence;
- To ensure smooth running of related services operation and provide feedback for improvement, efficiency and effectiveness to upgrade its services;
- To report directly to General Manager of Hospital on all matters pertaining to hospital operations either by written or verbal reports when requested.
- To assist General Manager in carrying out general administrative matter.
- To develop and formulate policies and procedures of the standard of hospital to ensure excellence of delivery of services.
- To prepare proper working paper and feasibility study to assess the need of the hospital equipment and new/future investment or extension programme for the growth of the hospital.
- To assist the Human Resource services and in ensuring enough manpower to man the services especially those directly involved with customers.
- To actively be involved in marketing and public relations plan of the hospital to ensure continuous marketing and promotion is done for new and existing services.
- To carry out and monitor analyses and report key aspects of financial performance.
- To assist the General Manager of the hospital in the preparation of yearly budget and prepare hospital management report for Management Committee Meeting.
- To liaise with vendors on the requirements of repairs, maintenance and purchase of equipment and monitor outsourced vendor on the productivity and results of respective departments.
- To coordinate for any ad‑hoc repairing service of hospital equipment whenever it is necessary.
- To assist M&E on the specification, invitation or quotation and submit recommendation to the management, with regard to the purchasing of new equipment, upgrading of the M&E installation and for in‑house renovation works.
- To assist General Manager in identifying the training needs of staff and relate it to Human Resource and Training department for staff satisfaction and development.
- Ensure all policies and procedures of ISO 9001:2008 and MSQH Hospital Accreditation Standard are adhered to and records maintained, if and when these programmes are implemented.
- Conformance to ISO 9001:2008 and MSQH Hospital Accreditation Standard and Requirements.
- Prompt and effective action in taking correction and corrective measures in ISO 9001:2008 and MSQH Hospital Accreditation non‑conformance report (NCR) and or opportunity for improvement (OFI).
- Achievement of satisfactory performance on the external and internal audits.
