Job summary

KTK Concrete Sdn Bhd in Malaysia is seeking an experienced Operations Manager to oversee daily operations across multiple concrete plants, coordinating production, delivery, maintenance and logistics to ensure smooth workflow and timely customer service.

You will lead plant supervisors, drivers and production staff, monitor KPIs, safety compliance, and cost control, and work with Production, Maintenance, Quality, Sales, Purchasing and Transport teams to optimise productivity and site performance.

Qualifications

• Experience as an operations manager in construction/industrial environments.
• Strong leadership and cross-functional coordination capability.
• Knowledge of quality, safety and regulatory standards (ISO/SIRIM/CIDB).

Responsibilities

• Monitor plant performance, production output, delivery schedules and operational efficiency.
• Plan and coordinate daily concrete production and delivery to meet customer requirements and project schedules.
• Monitor the availability and condition of plant equipment, machinery, trucks and other resources.
• Collaborate with Maintenance and Production teams to minimize equipment downtime.
• Ensure products and activities comply with company standards, safety procedures and regulatory requirements.
• Monitor operational costs and identify opportunities to improve productivity and reduce wastage.
• Handle operational issues and customer-related matters, ensuring timely resolutions.
• Lead, supervise and develop plant supervisors, drivers, production staff and other personnel.
• Establish and monitor operational KPIs to improve productivity and service levels.
• Conduct regular site and plant inspections and follow up on corrective actions.

Job description

Oversee and manage the company's daily operations across concrete plants, including production, delivery, plant maintenance and logistics. Ensure smooth and efficient coordination between Production, Quality Control, Maintenance, Sales, Purchasing and Transport departments.

Key responsibilities

Monitor plant performance, production output, delivery schedules and operational efficiency

Plan and coordinate daily concrete production and delivery to meet customer requirements and project schedules

Work closely with the Maintenance and Production teams to minimize equipment breakdowns and operational downtime

Ensure products and operational activities comply with company standards, quality requirements, safety procedures, ISO/SIRIM/CIDB requirements and applicable regulations

Monitor operational costs and identify opportunities to improve productivity and reduce wastage

Handle operational issues and customer-related matters, and ensure timely resolution of problems

Lead, supervise and develop plant supervisors, drivers, production staff and other operational personnel

Establish and monitor operational KPIs to improve productivity, service level and overall performance

Conduct regular site and plant inspections and follow up on corrective actions
