Job summary

Solarvest (Vietnam) Company Limited is seeking an experienced Solar PV O&M Supervisor to lead maintenance activities across sites, coordinate technicians and contractors, and ensure adherence to SLA. You will manage schedules, QA/QC, risk assessments, and prepare Method of Statement.

You will monitor performance data, compile daily to annual reports, maintain documentation, and liaise with authorities, consultants, vendors, and clients during projects and warranty periods.

Qualifications

• Possess 2 years of working experience as Solar PV O&M Technician or equivalent.
• Extensive knowledge of electrical and solar PV theory and troubleshooting.
• Excellent analytical, problem solving and reporting skills.
• Knowledge of Electricity Supply Act 1990 and Electricity Regulations 1994.
• Diploma in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
• Certified Electrical Supervisor by Energy Commission (ST) is an added advantage.
• Certified LV Chargeman is an added advantage.
• Good computer literacy.
• Customer oriented, independent, and good interpersonal skills.
• Possess valid driving license D and GDL, and willing to base in Penang and Kedah.
• Good communication in Bahasa Malaysia and English (verbal and written).
• Physically and mentally strong and fit.
• Able to work weekends and public holidays if required.
• Able to travel to regional sites if required.

Responsibilities

• Manage schedule arrangements to attend corrective, preventive, or predictive maintenance related to solar PV systems, initiate fault diagnosis and corrective actions according to SLA.
• Review daily work and routine maintenance progress by Technicians.
• Review all maintenance outcomes performed by Technicians and Contractors. Ensure countermeasures meet standards, procedures and specifications.
• Conduct QA & QC inspections during project execution to ensure quality.
• Monitor system performance by gathering relevant data and producing statistical reports.
• Ensure compliance with Health, Safety, and Environment legislation.
• Perform risk assessments and prepare Method of Statement for maintenance processes.
• Communicate effectively with authorities, engineering consultants, competent persons, contractors, vendors and clients during projects phase and warranty period.
• Maintain and control proper documentation and related records.
• Supervise and monitor any works related to solar PV system performed by appointed Contractor.
• Assist the Engineer in processing quotations, invoices, PO, WO, DO, and payment status to registered vendors.
• Provide Inspection Report, Preventive Maintenance Report, and any warranty claim report including inverter, PV module, data logger etc.
• Provide daily, monthly, quarterly, and annually operating and performance reports on electricity production, efficiency, availability, maintenance performed, outages, inspection results, recommended services, replacements, control settings, or adjustments of equipment.
• Manage and maintain assigned company vehicle (If applicable).
• Manage, maintain, and sustain spare parts and tools inventory.
• Support and involve with O&M related works at rooftop projects as per instructed by Engineer.

Job description

4.Conduct QA & QC inspections during project execution to ensure project quality meeting the standards.

5.Monitoring system performance by gathering relevant data and produce statistical performance reports.

6.Ensuring compliance with Health, Safety, and Environment legislation.

7.Performing risk assessments and preparing Method of Statement according to the specific maintenance process.

8.Communicate effectively with authorities, engineering consultants, competent persons, contractors, vendors and clients during projects phase and service warranty period.

9.Maintain and control proper documentation and related records through the channels provided.

10. Supervise and monitor any works related to solar PV system performed by appointed Contractor.

11. Assist the Engineer in processing quotations, invoices, PO, WO, DO, and payment status to registered vendors.

12. Provide Inspection Report, Preventive Maintenance Report, and any product warranty claim report including inverter, PV module, data logger etc.

13. Provide daily, monthly, quarterly, and annually operating and performance reports on information about electricity production, efficiency, availability, maintenance performed, outages, results of inspections, manufacturer recommended services, replacements, control settings, or adjustments of equipment and protective devices.

14. Manage and maintain assigned company vehicle (If applicable).

15. Manage, maintain, and sustain spare parts and tools inventory.

16. Support and involve with O&M related works at rooftop projects as per instructed by Engineer.

2.Extensive knowledge on electrical & solar PV theoretical understanding and troubleshooting skills.

4.Possess sufficient knowledge of the Electricity Supply Act 1990 and Electricity Regulations 1994.

5.Possess Diploma in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.

6.Certified Electrical Supervisor by Energy Commission (ST) is an added advantage.

7.Certified LV Chargeman is an added advantage.

8.Good in computer literate.

9.Customer oriented, independent, and good interpersonal skills.
