Job summary

China Railway Electrification Engineering Group (Malaysia) Sdn. Bhd. is seeking an OCC Systems Engineer to manage control centre systems including video wall and console setups, and to coordinate with clients and project teams.

The role involves telecommunications design, preparing PDR/FDR drawings and procedures, and contributing to reports and proposals. Candidates should have a relevant Bachelor's degree, knowledge of control centre systems, IP networking basics, and 1–2 years in COMMS

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Electrical/Electronics/Telecommunication from a reputable academic institution.
• Extensive knowledge in control centre systems.
• Basic knowledge in IP networking and M&E background.
• 1–2 years' experience in COMMS system design and deployment (railway industry experience a plus).
• Proficiency in English and Bahasa Malaysia (Mandarin an added advantage).
• Sarawakian applicants preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and liaise with principals, customers, and team members for projects.
• Involve in telecommunication design (PDR, FDR, drawings, T&C procedures).
• Prepare reports and proposals.
• Experience in COMMS system implementation.
• Conduct site surveys on a project basis.
• Provide support in project implementation—construction, installation, testing, commissioning, defect liability, or tender when needed.
• Identify and diagnose faults and troubleshoot problems.

Knowledge on control centre systems such video wall system, console system, ergonomic study.

Coordinate & liaise with principle(s), customer, DPM/PM/PD and other team members for project.

Involve in telecommunication design (producing PDR, FDR, drawings, T&C procedures)

Reports and proposals writing

Experience in COMMS system implementation

Conduct site-survey on project basis

Provide support in project implementation Construction & Installation, Testing & Commissioning, Defect Liability Period support, or tender (when necessary)

Identifying and diagnosing faults and troubleshooting problems.

Job Requirements:

Bachelor's Degree in Electrical/Electronics/Telecommunication from reputable academic institution

Extensive knowledge in control centre system.

Basic knowledge in IP networking, M&E background.

1 - 2 years' experience in COMMS system design and deployment (Experience in railway industry will be added advantage)

Proficient in English and Bahasa Malaysia (written and spoken). Mandarin will be an added advantage
