Job summary

Jora Malaysia seeks an on-site technical support engineer to diagnose, repair and maintain equipment during customer visits. You will read mechanical, pneumatic and electrical drawings, perform precision measurements, and collaborate with the JRA Singapore team for tool installation and calibration.

The role requires hands-on problem solving, safe working practices and clear customer communication; training users and documenting incidents are part of daily tasks.

Qualifications

• Ability to diagnose and repair customer-reported problems.
• Experience troubleshooting robots, control devices and peripherals.
• Willingness to travel to customer sites and work in cleanroom/confined spaces.
• Able to read mechanical, pneumatic, and electrical drawings.

Responsibilities

• Provide on-site technical support and maintenance of equipment.
• Read and interpret mechanical, pneumatic, and electrical drawings.
• Perform measurements with vernier calipers and dial gauge.
• Coordinate preventive maintenance with customers.
• Robot teaching for accuracy and repeatability.
• Follow safety procedures and company standards.
• Training and guidance to customers when required.
