Job summary

Jora Malaysia is seeking a Technical Service Engineer to take over all service responsibilities after installation and commissioning. You will diagnose issues, provide on-site or remote troubleshooting, and collaborate with the Service team for installations, preventive maintenance, and repairs.

The role requires strong troubleshooting, analytical and communication skills, and the ability to travel frequently to customer sites, ensuring safety at all times.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Electrical, Mechanical, or Electronics Engineering (or related field).
• 1-3 years of experience in a technical support or service engineering role (fresh graduates with internships may also apply).
• Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and travel frequently to customer sites

Responsibilities

• Take over all technical service responsibilities once the project team completes installation and commissioning.
• Respond to customer service requests, diagnose technical issues, and provide on-site or remote troubleshooting.
• Work with Service team on installation, commissioning, preventive maintenance, and repair work as required.
• Respond to service requests, analyze issues, and implement effective solutions promptly.
• Coordinate with suppliers, subcontractors, and internal teams for service-related matters
• Maintain detailed service reports and documentation for each customer interaction.
• Ensure spare parts availability and manage service inventory.
• Adhere to all health and safety regulations during site visits.
