Job summary

Jora Malaysia seeks an Implementation and Commissioning Engineer to install and commission water treatment systems (Pure and Waste). You will conduct functional tests, secure permits, and guide plant operators on-site.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree in Chemical, Environmental, or Mechanical Engineering, at least 3 years in water treatment, and proficiency in Bahasa Malaysia and English. On-site work with own transport may be required.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Bahasa Malaysia and English is required.
• Experience in water treatment systems is preferred.
• Candidate should have at least 3 years in water treatment.
• Willingness to be based on-site for a designated period.
• Own transport with valid driving license is preferred.
• Energetic, personable and able to engage with others.

Responsibilities

• Perform system functional tests and plant commissioning.
• Submit and secure permits from customers and representatives.
• Enforce safety rules at each site.
• Maintain in-house and field testing/monitoring equipment.
• Prepare commissioning checklists and reports.
• Provide operating guidance to plant operators.
• Assist in project handover activities and post-warranty support.
• Report installation faults and corrective actions.
