- Plan and execute pre-commissioning, commissioning, startup, and performance testing activities.
- Review engineering drawings, P&IDs, specifications, and project documentation.
- Develop and implement commissioning procedures, test plans, and inspection checklists.
- Coordinate commissioning activities with project managers, contractors, vendors, and customers.
- Perform site inspections and verify installation quality and compliance with design specifications.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues during commissioning and startup phases.
- Ensure all systems and equipment meet operational, safety, and performance requirements.
- Prepare commissioning reports, test records, punch lists, and handover documentation.
- Conduct training sessions for customers and end-users on system operation and maintenance.
- Maintain compliance with company policies, project requirements, and applicable safety regulations.
- Support project completion and successful handover to clients within the agreed schedule.
- Any other duties and responsibilities may be assigned by the immediate superior from time to time.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Instrumentation Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Minimum 3 to 5 years of experience in commissioning, installation, startup, or project engineering.
- Experience in water treatment, industrial plants, manufacturing facilities, utilities, or related industries is an added advantage.
- Experience working at customer sites and managing commissioning activities independently.
- Knowledge of commissioning processes, troubleshooting methodologies, and testing procedures.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, P&IDs, single-line diagrams, and technical specifications.
- Familiarity with PLC, SCADA, instrumentation, and control systems is advantageous.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and project documentation.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and under pressure to meet project deadlines.
- Strong organizational and reporting skills.
- Team-oriented with a proactive attitude.
