Job summary

Jora Malaysia is seeking a Sales Engineer for Chemical Water Treatment in Malaysia. The role requires a degree in engineering and over 5 years of sales experience, with strong analytical and communication skills. Qualifications

• Degree and above in Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical, or Environmental Engineering.
• Over 5 years of sales experience.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills and excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
• Ability to work independently and adapt to changing priorities.
• Knowledge of water treatment processes and regulations is a plus but not required.
• More than two years of experience working in petrochemicals factory (preferred)
• Willingness to travel/site work
• Working day: Monday -Friday, 8.30am-5.30pm

Responsibilities

• Identify and prospect potential clients in target industries through market research and networking.
• Focus on proposing solutions to issues identified in real-site situations through meetings with clients and provide technical support to customers and sales team members throughout the sales process.
• Collaborate with the sales team to develop sales strategies, proposals, and presentations tailored to customer needs.
• Conduct technical presentations and demonstrations to educate customers about our water treatment products and services.
• Making quotes, proposals, and technical specifications in response to customer inquiries
• Stay informed about market trends, competitor activities, and customer requirements to inform sales and marketing strategies.
• Responsible for the full recovery of the amount of the invoice issued by the company to the customer.
