Job summary

Hi-P International is seeking a Test Engineer for the Kulim site. The role involves planning, developing, and executing test procedures to ensure product and component performance meets design specs and quality standards.

You will set up test equipment, analyze data, troubleshoot issues, and document results for internal and customer use, collaborating with design and manufacturing teams to drive continuous improvement on the production line.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Engineering (Electrical, Electronic, Mechanical, Mechatronics, or related).
• Experience in a manufacturing environment with precision tooling, molding, or PCBA.
• Familiarity with ISO or similar certification frameworks.
• Ability to document test plans, procedures, and reports clearly.
• Strong problem-solving, attention to detail, and timeliness.
• Willingness to work on-site in Kulim and on the production floor.
• Mandarin-speaking ability for communication with Chinese-speaking clients.

Responsibilities

• Plan, develop, and execute test procedures for products and components.
