Job summary

Nokia is seeking an On-Site Support Test Engineer based in Malaysia to maintain and support fixed networks test systems, including GPON and copper technologies, across our Southeast Asia factories. You will analyze production performance, work with designers on improvements, support changes, factory transfers and new product introductions, and align test strategies across multiple sites.

Fluent English is required; knowledge of Chinese is strongly preferred.

Qualifications

• Degree in Electrical/Electronics engineering or related field; Master’s degree or 5+ years with Bachelor may apply.
• 3+ years experience with Master’s degree or 5+ years with Bachelor in relevant field.
• Experience with optical communication network standards and testing.
• Experience in factory/production environment; programming (Python) preferred.
• Familiar with test instruments and instrument control; good English skills.
