Job summary

MKS Instruments, including the Atotech (an MKS brand) Malaysia team, seeks a Technical Service Specialist to deliver high-quality on-site services and technical support to customers. You will work with the Sales Team to troubleshoot issues, optimize processes, and identify opportunities to improve efficiency and cost savings, reporting to the GMF Business Manager.

Travel up to 50% is required, with strong emphasis on safety compliance and clear technical communication.

Qualifications

Diploma or higher in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or Industrial Science.
1–2 years in electroplating, water treatment, or wastewater environments.
Willingness to travel up to 50% as required by the role.

Responsibilities

Deliver technical support and on-site services to customers.
Troubleshoot technical issues and optimize customer processes.
Provide feedback and recommendations to improve operational efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
Ensure on-site activities comply with safety standards.
Provide clear, professional responses to technical inquiries.
Collaborate with other departments for cross-functional support.
Prepare technical reports on process troubleshooting and findings.
Travel up to 50% for customer support and on-site service activities.
