Job summary

Rolls-Royce Power Systems in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia seeks an Onsite Execution Engineer (Electrical/ Genset Projects) to lead technical execution for diesel genset orders across APAC. You will manage balance‑of‑plant design, site supervision, commissioning and coordination with teams, suppliers and customers to ensure timely delivery.

The role requires a degree in Mechatronics or Electrical Engineering, 5+ years’ diesel/genset experience, and ability to travel within APAC.

Qualifications

University degree in Mechatronics or Electrical Engineering.
Minimum 5 years technical experience in diesel/gas engine or power generation industry.
Hands‑on experience in regional project execution, installation, site supervision and commissioning of diesel gensets.
Knowledge of electrical power systems, genset control systems and engineering calculations.
Understand of schematic diagram and P&ID.

Responsibilities

Support balance-of-plant design topics and best practices during Sales & Pre-Execution.
Take over awarded orders and execute technical scope with the Project Manager.
Balance technical solutions against project budget and commercial requirements.
Coordinate with internal teams, suppliers and customers to fulfil contractual obligations.
Prepare technical drawings, calculations, manuals and documentation.
