Job summary

PROTON is seeking an On-site Finance Business Partner for Manufacturing in Malaysia. The role represents Finance at the plant, delivering timely, practical advice while maintaining independent financial judgement to support cost control and productive operations.

You will coordinate finance issues, review budgets, control costs, and produce manufacturing cost reports. The position also drives governance and process improvements to strengthen financial control across plant operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field.
• 5+ years in cost accounting within manufacturing or production.
• 3+ years in a supervisory or managerial role.
• Strong knowledge of budgeting, cost control and management reporting.

Responsibilities

• Finance issue coordination and resolution as the plant focal point.
• Budget review and cost control with operational teams.
• Manufacturing reporting and validation of cost data monthly.
• Finance governance and process improvement in plant operations.
