Job summary

TECEZE in Kuantan, Malaysia seeks an IT Support Specialist – Backfill to provide on-site technical assistance when full-time engineers are unavailable. You will support desktops, laptops, printers, and AV equipment, ensuring quick resolutions and high service levels.

Proficiency with Office 365, basic networking (DHCP/DNS/LAN), and strong communication are essential. The role offers a flexible, hands-on environment within a dynamic team.

Qualifications

• Proven experience with desktop/laptop troubleshooting and hardware maintenance.
• Basic networking knowledge (DHCP, DNS, LAN).
• Experience with Office 365 support and troubleshooting.
• Printer setup and network printer troubleshooting.
• Strong communication and ability to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Provide on-site IT support for desktops, laptops, and peripherals.
• Install, configure, and maintain hardware and software per standards.
• Perform IMAC (Install, Move, Add, Change) activities for IT assets.
• Troubleshoot hardware and software issues and perform break-fix.
• Coordinate with OEM/vendors for hardware repairs, replacements, and escalations.
• Manage IT inventory and asset documentation.
• Assist in conference room setup, AV support, and meeting room technology.
• Provide Office 365-related issues and general user account troubleshooting.
• Maintain SLA adherence and document incidents and resolutions.
