Job summary

TECEZE in Bayan Lepas, Penang, Malaysia, seeks an IT Support Specialist to provide on-site technical assistance when full-time engineers are unavailable. You will troubleshoot desktops and laptops, configure hardware/software, and maintain IT assets.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Provide on-site IT support for desktops, laptops, and peripherals.
• Install, configure and maintain hardware and software per standards.
• Perform IMAC activities for IT assets.
• Troubleshoot hardware and software and provide break-fix support.
• Coordinate with OEMs/vendors for repairs and escalations.
• Manage IT inventory and document incidents.
• Provide VIP/end-user support with high-touch service.
• Support Office 365 issues and user accounts.
• Assist in conference room AV setup and meeting room tech.
• Ensure SLAs are met.
• Document resolutions and maintain knowledge base.
• Support after-hours events when required.

Job Overview:

We are looking for a reliable and flexible IT Support Specialist to provide on-site technical assistance when full-time engineers are unavailable

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide on-site IT support for desktops, laptops, and peripheral devices.
• Install, configure, and maintain hardware and software as per organizational standards.
• Perform IMAC (Install, Move, Add, Change) activities for IT assets.
• Handle hardware and software troubleshooting, including break-fix support.
• Coordinate with OEM/vendors for hardware repairs, replacements, and escalations.
• Manage and maintain IT inventory, including asset tracking and documentation.
• Perform system imaging for laptops and desktops.
• Support printer setup, troubleshooting, and network printer installations.
• Assist in conference room setup, AV support, and meeting room technologies.
• Provide VIP/end-user support with high-touch service.
• Support Office 365-related issues and general user account troubleshooting.
• Install and troubleshoot compliance/security software.
• Provide support for Mac devices alongside Windows systems.
• Ensure adherence to defined Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
• Document incidents, resolutions, and maintain knowledge base articles.
• Support after-hours activities, events, and recurring meetings when required.

Required Skills & Qualifications:
