Job summary

JLL is seeking a Facilities Manager to lead daily operations at our Bukit Mertajam site in Malaysia. You will oversee hard and soft services, coordinate maintenance, safety, and compliance to ensure reliable facility operations and client satisfaction.

Ideal candidates have 5–10 years in facilities management, strong leadership, and technical knowledge of HVAC, MEP, and building systems. On-site role with opportunities for process improvement and cost optimization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Facilities Management, or related technical field.
• 5–10 years in technical facilities management, preferably in manufacturing environments.
• Professional certifications such as FMP/CFM or equivalent preferred.
• Strong communication and problem-solving abilities.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily facility operations ensuring all systems and services run without interruptions.
• Lead the on-site FM team and coordinate with vendors and contractors.
• Ensure safety, compliance, and regulatory standards across the site.
• Develop SOPs and maintenance plans to improve uptime and efficiency.
• Monitor KPIs, budgets, and service levels with a client-focused approach.
