Job summary

AZAN ENGINEERING SDN. BHD. is seeking a Laboratory Technician to be based at project sites in Bintulu, Sarawak.

You will perform on-site sampling and laboratory testing of construction materials, monitor QC activities, and prepare daily/weekly test reports. The role requires coordinating with Site Engineers, Project Managers, consultants and subcontractors to align testing schedules and ensure calibration of equipment.

Qualifications

Willing to be stationed at project sites and relocate as required.
Able to work extended hours, weekends or public holidays when project demands require.
Possession of a valid driving license is an advantage.

Responsibilities

Conduct on-site sampling and testing of construction materials.
Monitor concrete works, soil compaction and other quality control activities.
Coordinate with the Site Engineer, Project Manager, consultants and subcontractors on testing schedules.
Prepare daily and weekly laboratory reports and submit test results promptly.
Ensure all site laboratory equipment is properly maintained and calibrated.
Maintain proper records of test samples, results and quality documentation.
Comply with all site safety rules and company HSE policies.
Perform other duties assigned by the Laboratory Supervisor or Project Manager.
