Job summary

Talent Recruit represents a leading global heat shrink manufacturer expanding its footprint in Malaysia. We seek an on-site Civil Engineer to oversee construction progress at Pekan Nenas, Johor, ensuring quality, safety, cost control and disciplined site management.

You will liaise with design consultants, supervise reviews and assist in approvals and handover. A Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering and at least 5 years of on-site experience with local processes are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in civil engineering or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of on-site civil engineering management experience in Malaysia.
• Familiar with approval processes and completion inspection standards.

Responsibilities

• Oversee on-site civil construction management, ensuring progress, quality, safety, cost and site discipline.
• Coordinate with local design consultants and stakeholders; supervise reviews and construction coordination.
• Assist the Project Manager with project approvals, documentation submissions, inspections, and handover.
• Review plans, quantities and variation orders; supervise procedures and material inspection on delivery.
• Prepare daily site logs and weekly/monthly project reports and maintain complete records.
