Job summary

ST Tunnel (M) Sdn Bhd in Johor seeks a dedicated Civil Engineer to oversee site supervision and manage building and factory developments. You will coordinate with subcontractors, consultants, and project teams to ensure quality, safety, timelines, and budgets are met.

Responsibilities include site operations, compliance with standards, QC and safety, drawing reviews with AutoCAD, basic land surveying, progress reporting, and liaison with clients and authorities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent.
• Minimum 3 years of hands-on site supervision experience.
• Strong knowledge of AutoCAD and structural drawings.
• Ability to perform basic land surveying.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day site operations and manage structural and civil construction works for building/factory developments.
• Ensure construction activities comply with regulatory standards, approved blueprints, safety codes, and quality specifications.
• Conduct regular site inspections, audit works, and enforceQC and safety standards on site.
• Identify potential design or construction risks and formulate efficient solutions.
• Prepare, review, and modify 2D/3D drawings and structural details using AutoCAD.
• Perform basic land surveying, boundary checks, layout marking, and level verifications on site.
• Review structural calculations, BOQ, and project specifications.
• Report to the Managing Director on progress, milestones, risk assessments, and resource allocation.
• Coordinate with clients, architects, engineers, subcontractors, councils, and utilities.
