Job summary

Dell Inc. is seeking an On-Site Service Engineer to support AI Server systems at Dell AI Data Center locations, including Cyberjaya. You will deliver hands-on maintenance, rapid outage recovery, and preventative care, working closely with customers and cross-functional teams.

Role requires 2–5 years in technical support or data center environments, strong troubleshooting skills, and willingness to travel. On-site work with physical lifting is required.

Qualifications

• 2–5 years of experience in technical support, field engineering, or data center support.
• Hands-on experience with server, storage, networking hardware and data center environments.
• Ability to read logs and performance data for troubleshooting and root cause analysis.
• Willingness to travel to customer sites and support on-call/overtime as required.
• Able to lift and move equipment up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Provide on-site technical support for AI Server systems to ensure reliability and minimal downtime.
• Troubleshoot hardware, firmware, and software issues; perform root cause analysis and corrective actions.
• Perform server maintenance, including part replacements, firmware upgrades, and health checks.
• Collaborate with engineering and customer teams to resolve issues and validate firmware updates.
• Identify recurring issues and suggest improvements for service efficiency and reliability.
