Job summary

Jora Malaysia is seeking a Service & Tendering specialist to drive tendering exercises, coordinate project delivery, and maintain strong relationships with oil and gas clients. You will oversee procurement, interfacing with principals, and monitor project costs and scheduling to ensure on-time delivery.

You will engage in plant shutdown activities, address customer issues, and support service sales initiatives while ensuring profitability and client satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Engineering degree required; Mechanical/Electrical preferred.
• At least 3 years’ experience with internal combustion engines and rotating equipment.
• Ability to explain technical concepts to diverse audiences.
• Experience in sales, client management, proposals and growth initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Lead tendering activities and prepare package proposals.
• Execute purchase orders and monitor project progress and delivery schedules.
• Coordinate project information between principals and clients and interfaces with representatives.
• Maintain relationships with key oil & gas customers.
• Evaluate resources on site service projects and manage costs.
• Address customer issues and track service work with vendors.
• Participate in plant shutdown activities and ensure timely invoicing.
• Monitor WIP and strive to minimize aging and improve profitability.
• Plan downtime with existing customers and expand service opportunities.
• Advise customers on technical problems and support service/sales programs.
