Job summary

Private Advertiser in Malaysia is seeking a Contracts Engineer to serve as the key point of contact for customers on assigned contracts, coordinating across Sales, Engineering and production to deliver on time. You will review Purchase Orders, manage variations in ERP, monitor schedules and reports, and support visits and invoicing while maintaining strong stakeholder relations.

Role involves problem-solving across departments and managing projects from order through delivery in the Oil & Gas

Qualifications

• Degree or Diploma in Engineering or a related field.
• Experience in Contracts, Project Engineering or Order Management is advantageous.
• Oil & Gas industry exposure is encouraged.

Responsibilities

• Review customer Purchase Orders, contract scope, technical requirements and commercial terms.
• Coordinate with Sales, Engineering, SCM/Purchasing, Production and QA/QC to deliver contracts.
• Monitor documentation, production schedules and customer deliverables for timely submission.
• Manage customer queries and proactively address delays or issues.
• Attend meetings and ensure agreed actions are followed through.
• Coordinate customer visits and prepare internal teams.
• Track order progress through completion, shipment and invoicing.
• Process and maintain Variation Orders (VOs) in ERP and communicate changes.
• Prepare and support weekly and monthly contract reports.
