Job summary

Wilhelm Technologies Sdn Bhd is seeking a sales engineer in Johor, Malaysia to build a growing customer base and manage key accounts. You will identify opportunities, deliver quotations, and close deals while coordinating with engineering and project teams to ensure solutions meet client needs.

The role requires the ability to read technical drawings, strong math skills, and a proactive, independent work style.

Qualifications

Prior experience in the oil & gas industry preferred.
Good interpersonal and communication skills.
Ability to read technical drawings.

Fast learner and able to acquire new skills.
Comfortable working independently.

Responsibilities

Generating new customers base & maintaining relationship with existing customers.
Proactively identifying new business opportunities, developing, negotiating and closing commercial deals with customers.
Perform costing and submit quotation to customers which may include negotiating on tender, contract terms and sourcing for raw materials.
Providing the technical solution required to address client requirements.
Prepare sales order and necessary manufacturing documents.
Work closely with the project management team in managing the project’s progress.
Participate in marketing efforts by the sales team through coordinating or attending trade shows and conferences.
Liaising with other members of the sales team, engineers and other technical experts.
