Job summary

LINEAR CREST PETROLEUM SDN. BHD. is seeking a Project Scheduler to develop and maintain integrated project schedules for EPCC, oil & gas, and construction projects. You will monitor progress, manage look-ahead plans, and coordinate with multiple departments to ensure on-time delivery.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree in a related field and 3–5 years of scheduling experience, with proficiency in Primavera P6 and MS Project. Travel to sites in Malaysia and abroad is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Project Management, Construction Management or related discipline.
• Minimum 3–5 years of relevant experience in Project Scheduling, Planning, or Project Controls.
• Experience in EPCC, Oil & Gas, or Construction projects is advantageous.
• Strong understanding of project planning, scheduling, execution, and control processes.
• Proficient in Primavera P6 and Microsoft Project.
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel.
• Strong analytical, organizational and problem-solving skills.
• Good interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to work in a team.
• Proficient in both written and spoken English and Bahasa Malaysia.
• Mandarin communication ability is an added advantage.
• Willing to travel and work at project sites in Malaysia and overseas.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain integrated project schedules from summary to detailed execution plans.
• Monitor and control project schedules to ensure on-time completion of engineering, procurement, construction and commissioning activities.
• Coordinate with Project Managers, Engineers, Procurement, Construction and other departments for schedule alignment.
• Prepare, update and analyze progress reports, look-ahead schedules, and recovery plans.
• Monitor progress, identify schedule risks and delays, and propose corrective actions.
• Maintain schedule baselines and perform schedule updates using Primavera P6 and/or Microsoft Project.
• Participate in project meetings and provide scheduling support to management and stakeholders.
• Travel to project sites within Malaysia and overseas to support planning and coordination.
