Job summary

AXI Energy is seeking an experienced Planning Engineer in Malaysia for a 1–2 year contract. You will own schedule management, progress tracking, critical path analysis, and client reporting on major oil & gas, EPCI projects.

Proficiency in Primavera P6 and MS Project is required, with strong CPM, EVM, and risk analysis skills. You will develop baseline schedules, monitor milestones, and prepare detailed dashboards for executives.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Civil, Industrial Eng, or PM.
8–12+ years in project planning, scheduling, and controls.
Hands-on EPCI project experience.
Primavera P6 and MS Project proficiency.
Solid CPM, EVM, and schedule risk analysis.
Strong English communication and client-facing skills.

Responsibilities

Develop, maintain, and manage baseline schedules for oil & gas/EPCI projects.
Monitor progress across engineering, procurement, fabrication, offshore installation, and commissioning.
Perform critical path analysis and schedule risk mitigation.
Prepare look-ahead schedules, S-curves, progress reports and dashboards.
Coordinate with project managers, cost controllers, and construction managers.
Review contractor schedules and milestone claims for compliance.
Maintain document control for schedule revisions and change orders.
Document planning procedures and delay analysis.
