Job summary

Elsa Talent in Kuala Lumpur is seeking an experienced Contract Administrator to oversee contract administration for oil and gas projects from appraisal to execution. You will coordinate scopes of work, contract terms, and templates to ensure deadlines are met and projects run smoothly.

The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor's degree in engineering and has at least five years of experience in the oil and gas sector, with strong negotiation, invoicing, and legal knowledge related to PETRONAS

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field.
• Minimum 5 years in oil and gas contract administration across all project phases.
• Experience in creating and maintaining ITB and contract templates for project services and supply contracts.
• Coordinate development and review of scopes of work, contract terms and related documents to meet deadlines.
• Experience in commercial bid evaluation, negotiations and administration of awards and amendments.
• Experience in contract administration across Contracts, Purchase Orders and Service Orders.
• Ability to evaluate and negotiate contractor claims, change orders and disputes.
• Draft and prepare commercial correspondence to contractors.
• Strong knowledge of managing contract progress payments, invoices, and related approvals.
• Knowledge of Malaysian law, PETRONAS tendering processes, guidelines.
• Excellent negotiation, communication and presentation skills.
