Elsa Talent is seeking an experienced Piping Commissioning Engineer in Kuala Lumpur to lead commissioning efforts for oil and gas projects. You will develop plans, coordinate multidisciplinary teams, and manage testing and turnover documentation to ensure safe, compliant project execution.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering and at least 8 years of relevant experience, with strong knowledge of international piping standards and design codes.

Qualificações

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or an equivalent recognised qualification.
• Minimum 8 years of relevant experience, including at least 5 years in a similar role or capacity.
• Relevant engineering and commissioning experience in the oil and gas industry.
• Good knowledge of international piping standards and applicable design codes.
• Proven competency in piping system testing and commissioning.
• Familiarity with oil and gas construction practices, project specifications, and quality requirements.
• Strong leadership, coordination, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to lead commissioning teams and work effectively with multidisciplinary stakeholders.

Responsabilidades

• Develop commissioning plans and procedures for piping systems in accordance with project requirements and applicable standards.
• Ensure compliance with project quality procedures, including document control, change control, materials control, field inspection, and testing procedures.
• Lead and coordinate the commissioning team during commissioning and start-up activities.
• Oversee piping system testing and commissioning to ensure activities are carried out safely and in accordance with approved procedures and specifications.
• Develop, review, and compile all required system handover and turnover documentation for formal transfer of custody to the Operations team.
• Coordinate with engineering, construction, and operations teams to resolve technical issues and ensure smooth execution of commissioning activities.
• Ensure compliance with applicable piping design codes, international standards, project specifications, and oil and gas industry construction practices.
