Job summary

Hong Leong Bank is offering an internship in Occupational Health and Safety to support the Bank’s OHS goals and regulatory requirements. The role reports to the Manager, Corporate Real Estate Operational Management and involves documenting, data generation, and developing training resources.

The candidate should be Malaysian, pursuing a Diploma/Degree in OSH, with MS Office skills, and a willingness to contribute to OSH programs and compliance efforts within the bank.

Qualifications

• Malaysian citizen.
• Diploma or degree in Occupational Safety and Health and seeking internship experience.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office Tools (PowerPoint, Excel, Office, Power Apps, Power Automate/Flows).
• Work experience related to OSH/training is an added advantage.
• Ability to take responsibility and work diligently on assignments.

Responsibilities

• Maintain Occupational Health & Safety Management System documentation, ensuring it is up to date and information is communicated to stakeholders.
• Collate data for analysis and reporting to measure OHS performance.
• Maintain and update online training materials and awareness posters/infographics for OHS & Environmental issues.
• Assist with OSH inspections results analysis and day‑to‑day OSH documentation work and monitoring.
• Digitise existing procedures and automate methods where applicable.
• Co‑facilitate OSH-related programs within the bank and support safety and health programs to meet OSHA standards.
• Assist ad‑hoc activities related to OSH.

Education

Exposure to Occupational Safety and Health (Diploma/Degree level)
