Job summary

TKR Engineering Sdn Bhd is seeking a Slickline Operator to safely prepare, rig-up, operate and maintain slickline units and related pressure-control equipment for well surveillance and intervention.

The role requires execution of the approved well programme, maintaining barriers, monitoring depth and line movement, coordinating with client and rig crew, and completing accurate operational records. offshore certification is preferred and travel offshore on rotation may be required.

Qualifications

• Diploma holders must demonstrate slickline competency and relevant operation experience.
• Certificate holders must have minimum 5 years' experience as a Slickline Operator.
• Good command of English and Bahasa Malaysia (written and spoken).
• Working knowledge of slickline units, line limits, pressure-control equipment, toolstrings, well schematics and HSE requirements.

Responsibilities

• Pre-Job Planning & Equipment Preparation: review job programme, data and contingency steps.
• Rig-Up & Pressure-Control Equipment: assemble and test equipment per layout.
• Slickline Operations: control depth, line speed, tension and tool movement within limits.
• Equipment Maintenance & Troubleshooting: clean, inspect and record keeping.
