Job summary

Elsa Talent Solutions Sdn. Bhd. is seeking a Well Intervention Engineer in Sarawak, Malaysia, to lead offshore interventions and supervise SIMOPS.

The role requires 5–10 years in well intervention, with strong coiled tubing and offshore/onshore exposure in Malaysia. The candidate will plan, model, budget, and coordinate offshore operations with service companies and operators. The position begins on 1 Jan 2027, with an annually renewable contract.

Qualifications

• Degree in Engineering or equivalent with 5–10 years in well intervention / services.
• Strong experience in coiled tubing, offshore and onshore Malaysia.
• Experience in slickline, e-line, pumping, wellhead and Christmas tree preparation.
• Offshore supervisory and engineering experience managing well intervention activities (SIMOPS).
• Experience in planning, job modelling, budgeting, and managing offshore well intervention operations.
• Experience working with service companies and operators in field-based or desk-based roles.
• Experience working under underbalanced reservoir conditions.
• Good understanding of offshore well intervention operations, safety requirements and procedures.

• Degree in Engineering or equivalent, with 5–10 years of relevant experience in well intervention / well services operations.
• Strong experience in coiled tubing, preferably with both onshore and offshore operations in Malaysia.
• Experience in slickline, e-line, pumping, wellhead and Christmas tree preparation.
• Offshore supervisory and engineering experience in managing well intervention activities, including simultaneous operations (SIMOPS).
• Experience in planning, job modelling, budgeting, and managing offshore well intervention operations.
• Experience working with both service companies and operators, either in field-based or desk-based engineering roles.
• Experience working under underbalanced reservoir conditions.
• Good understanding of offshore well intervention operations, safety requirements, and operational procedures.
