Job summary

Elsa Talent is seeking an experienced well intervention engineer to lead offshore operations in Malaysia, bringing 5–10 years of domain expertise and a strong background in coiled tubing and wellhead preparation.

You will coordinate SIMOPS, plan jobs, model budgets, and work with service companies and operators in both offshore and onshore settings, ensuring safety and adherence to procedures.

Qualifications

• Degree in Engineering required, with 5–10 years in well intervention / well services.
• Strong coiled tubing experience, offshore and onshore in Malaysia preferred.
• Experience in slickline, e-line, pumping, and wellhead/Christmas tree prep.
• Offshore supervisory and engineering background in managing well intervention activities, including SIMOPS.
• Experience in planning, budgeting, and offshore operation management.
• Experience with field-based or desk-based engineering roles.
• Experience working under underbalanced reservoir conditions.
• Solid understanding of offshore well intervention safety requirements and procedures.

• Strong experience in coiled tubing, preferably with both onshore and offshore operations in Malaysia.
• Experience in slickline, e-line, pumping, wellhead and Christmas tree preparation.
• Offshore supervisory and engineering experience in managing well intervention activities, including simultaneous operations (SIMOPS).
• Experience in planning, job modelling, budgeting, and managing offshore well intervention operations.
• Experience working with both service companies and operators, either in field-based or desk-based engineering roles.
• Experience working under underbalanced reservoir conditions.
• Good understanding of offshore well intervention operations, safety requirements, and operational procedures.
