Job summary

309 Borr Drilling Malaysia SDN. BHD. is seeking an Offshore HR professional to act as first contact for offshore personnel, support the OIM and Rig Manager, and drive improvements in HR policies and processes.

Responsible for mobilization, certification, and timely crew changes across designated rigs. You will maintain accurate HR records, manage inductions, on-call HR support, and participate in audits while ensuring confidentiality and high standards of service in a challenging offshore

Qualifications

• Valid offshore survival and pre-mobilisation certification (eg. BOSIET, MIST, CA-EBS).
• CIPD membership or local equivalent ongoing.
• Experience in Logistics/Crew Management including Visa application processes.
• Excellent communication skills: Fluency in written and spoken English.
• Competent using HRIS and MS Office.
• Ability to maintain accuracy and attention to detail under tight deadlines.
• Commitment to Company Management Systems and continuous improvement.
• Maintain confidentiality of company and personnel information.
• Strong employee engagement with internal and external stakeholders; drive performance.
• Professional attitude in communications (face-to-face, video, call, email).
• Proficient problem-solving; identify root causes in rotating crews.

Responsibilities

• Reporting: Monthly reporting on offshore workforce and headcount; ensure data accuracy.
• Employee Relations and Performance Management: support OIM and Rig Manager on hires, promotions, transfers; handle disciplinary matters.
• General HR: manage leave, answer HR queries, onboarding/offboarding induction, on-call HR support.
• Rig Manning: manage crew rota with OIM and Rig Manager; arrange travel per policy; ensure full crew.
• Payroll/Benefits Administration: payroll and benefits for offshore crews.
• Training and Competence: verify qualifications; renewals for offshore personnel as per matrix.
• Other: support audits, cost-effective crew changes, visa applications, travel arrangements.
