Job summary

ShopBack is seeking a motivated intern to support office operations, onboarding, and employee engagement in Kuala Lumpur. You’ll run day-to-day logistics, coordinate events, manage hardware, and assist with admin tasks across the Malaysia office.

The role offers hands-on exposure to HR operations, vendor management, and workplace programs, with a focus on process improvement and data-driven insights.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a degree in Human Resources, Psychology, Communications, Business Administration, or related field.
• Available for a minimum 6-month internship.
• Curiosity about AI tools and smarter ways to work.
• Organised enough to track hardware, budgets, and events.
• Clear written and verbal communication; adaptable to audience.
• Data-minded with ability to surface insights from metrics.
• Able to juggle competing priorities and stay calm.

Responsibilities

• Own onboarding day logistics and offboarding handoffs for Malaysia office hires.
• Plan and host the employee engagement calendar — events, campaigns, wellness sessions.
• Keep the office stocked, coordinate vendors, maintain facilities.
• Maintain hardware register and act as local IT liaison for the team.
• Support on-site health, safety, and emergency protocols.
• Manage parking passes, access cards, POs, and related admin tasks.
• Coordinate hardware issuance and collection, and asset tracking.
