Job summary

ShopBack Group in Kuala Lumpur is offering an internship to support workplace operations and facilities. You will assist with onboarding, offboarding, event planning, office stock, vendor coordination, and IT hardware liaison.

This hands-on role helps you learn HR, operations, and administration in a fast-paced tech company. During the internship, you’ll gain experience managing logistics for Malaysia offices, coordinating health and safety procedures, and building strong internal communications

Qualifications

• Pursuing degree in HR, psychology, communications, or business.
• Available for at least 6 months internship.
• Curiosity about AI tools and ways to work smarter.
• Organised enough to track hardware, budgets, and timelines.
• Clear communicator—written and verbal, adaptable to audience.
• Comfortable with data and surface insights from metrics.
• Able to juggle competing priorities and stay calm.

Responsibilities

• Own onboarding day logistics and offboarding handoffs for Malaysia hires.
• Plan and host the employee engagement calendar — events and wellness sessions.
• Keep the office stocked, coordinate vendors, and ensure facilities run smoothly.
• Maintain the hardware asset register and act as local IT liaison.
