Job summary

ShopBack Group in Malaysia seeks a proactive intern to join the Office & Workplace team. You’ll manage Day 1 onboarding, offboarding handoffs, and keep the engagement calendar, while coordinating vendors and maintaining facilities.

You’ll also handle hardware issuance, asset registers, and act as the local IT liaison for the team, supporting health and safety protocols. Ideal for students in HR/psych/communications/business, min 6 months, with interest in AI tools.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a degree in Human Resources, Psychology, Communications, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Available for a minimum 6-month internship.
• Curiosity about AI tools and a habit of finding smarter ways to get things done.
• Organised enough to track hardware, budgets, and event timelines without things slipping.
• Clear communicator — in writing and in person, and comfortable adapting your style to the audience.
• Comfortable with data — able to compile and surface insights from engagement and operations metrics; and
• Able to juggle competing priorities and stay calm when they collide.

Responsibilities

• Onboarding day logistics and offboarding handoffs for every Malaysia office hire.
• Plan and host the employee engagement calendar — events, campaigns, wellness sessions.
• Keep the office stocked, coordinate vendors, and ensure facilities are working.
• Maintain hardware register and act as the local IT liaison for the team.
• Coordinate hardware issuance and collection for new joiners, plus asset tracking.
