Job summary

DSV Air & Sea (Freight) Sdn. Bhd. in Malaysia is seeking an Operations Assistant for Sea Freight SSC Import on a 1-year temporary basis.

You will coordinate with carriers, customers and internal teams to ensure shipments are monitored and moved accurately. The role emphasizes attention to detail, strong communication, and proficiency with CW1/TMS and other systems, while meeting customer KPIs and service standards.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Transportation, Business Administration or a related field.
• Experience in Ocean Freight, Freight Forwarding or Logistics Operations is advantageous.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills; fluent in English and local language.

Responsibilities

• Ensure accurate and timely movement of ocean freight to/from designated locations.
• Coordinate with carriers, vendors, customers and internal stakeholders.
• Update shipment information in CW1 and monitor arrivals with carriers.
• Process Carrier Arrival Notices and communicate with consignees.
• Ensure compliance with customer KPIs and service requirements.
• Provide shipment manifests and details to customs authorities as needed.
