Job summary

Worldgate Express Services Sdn Bhd, located in Puchong, Malaysia, seeks an experienced freight forwarder for sea export operations. The role covers end-to-end shipment coordination from booking to delivery, liaising with carriers and agents, and ensuring accurate export documentation.

Candidates should have at least 3 years in sea export, strong knowledge of shipping procedures, and excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in freight forwarding, specifically in sea export operations.
• Strong understanding of shipping procedures, documentation, and international trade regulations.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in using freight forwarding software and standard office applications.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage and coordinate all aspects of sea export shipments from booking to delivery.
• Liaise with shipping lines, trucking companies, and overseas agents to ensure smooth operations.
• Prepare and process all necessary export documentation, including bills of lading, customs declarations, and commercial invoices.
• Track shipments and provide timely updates to clients on their cargo status.
• Resolve any issues or discrepancies that may arise during the transportation process.
• Maintain accurate records of all transactions and prepare reports as required.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant international trade regulations and company policies.
