Job summary

ADVANCECON GROUP seeks an Occupational Safety & Health Coordinator (Heavy Machinery) to support its safety programs across construction sites. The role focuses on implementing OSH initiatives, ensuring regulatory compliance, and driving safer work practices with contractors and teams.

The candidate should hold a Diploma in OSH, possess OSHA/FMA/EQA certifications as an advantage, and bring 1–2 years of HSE experience. Fresh graduates are welcome to apply for opportunities within the group.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Occupational Safety & Health or related field.
• OSHA/FMA/EQA certifications are advantageous.
• 1–2 years of Health & Safety experience.

Responsibilities

• Assist in implementing company and departmental OSH programs.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA 2022, Environmental Quality Act 2024, CIDB, and related regulations.
• Conduct regular site inspections to identify and mitigate hazards.
• Monitor site activities and correct unsafe practices or conditions.
• Work closely with contractors and subcontractors to ensure safety compliance.
• Investigate and report incidents, accidents, and near misses.
• Participate in HSE meetings, inspections, and audits.
• Track and improve safety KPIs across project sites.
• Ensure all workplace activities meet current safety standards.
• Perform any other duties assigned by management.

Occupational Safety & Health Coordinator (Heavy Machinery)

Advancecon Machinery Sdn. Bhd. is a subsidiary of Advancecon Holdings Berhad, supporting its core construction operations. Advancecon Machinery is the plant & machinery arm of the group, responsible for managing heavy equipment and supporting construction projects.

Key Responsibilities

Assist in implementing company and departmental OSH (Occupational Safety & Health) programs

Ensure compliance with OSHA 2022, Environmental Quality Act 2024, CIDB, and related regulations

Conduct regular site inspections to identify and mitigate hazards

Monitor site activities and correct unsafe practices or conditions

Work closely with contractors and subcontractors to ensure safety compliance

Investigate and report incidents, accidents, and near misses

Participate in HSE meetings, inspections, and audits

Requirements
