Job summary

Maybank is seeking a front-line banker to drive NTB commercial Current Accounts and grow deposit bases across the commercial segment. You will actively hunt NTB clients and deepen relationships with clients holding RM300K–RM1M ADB, while expanding merchant signups for card services and promoting Work+, digital, and FX products.

You will collaborate with CBCs and branches to onboard cash management solutions and push FX growth, M2E and M2U metrics, plus salary crediting programs to boost

Qualifications

• Proven track record in client acquisition and business development in banking or financial services.
• Experience in managing and growing deposit portfolios.
• Strong sales and negotiation skills with a proactive approach to business development.
• Excellent relationship-building and communication abilities.
• Deep understanding of deposit products and NTB client strategies.
• Familiarity with regulatory requirements and risk management.
• Results-oriented with a focus on achieving and exceeding targets.
• Dynamic, motivated and adept at identifying growth opportunities.

Responsibilities

• Accountable for acquiring NTB commercial Current Accounts and driving NTB deposit growth.
• Hunt for NTB clients to expand the customer base.
• Manage relationships with commercial clients with ADB between RM300K and RM1M.
• Promote new active merchant signups for card services to enhance the merchant portfolio.
• Increase share of wallet by cross-selling deposit products and digital banking solutions.
• Collaborate with CBCs and branches to onboard cash management solutions.
• Focus on attracting NTB FX customers and increasing M2E and M2U metrics.
• Implement salary crediting programs to improve engagement and account utilization.
