Job summary

Maybank in Kuala Lumpur is seeking an experienced banking professional to drive NTB commercial relationships and accelerate deposit growth. You will target new-to-bank clients, manage mid-range commercial balances, and expand the merchant services portfolio including Work+ and digital banking solutions.

You will collaborate with CBCs and branches to onboard cash management, promote FX signups, and push cross-sell to increase M2E and M2U usage while ensuring regulatory and risk standards are met.

Qualifications

• Proven track record in client acquisition and business development in banking or financial services.
• Experience in managing and growing deposit portfolios.
• Strong sales and negotiation skills with a proactive approach to business development.
• Excellent relationship-building and communication abilities.
• Deep understanding of deposit products and NTB client strategies.
• Familiarity with regulatory requirements and risk management.
• Results-oriented with a focus on achieving and exceeding targets.
• Dynamic, motivated, and adept at identifying growth opportunities.

Responsibilities

• Accountable for acquiring NTB commercial CAs and driving NTB deposit growth within the commercial segment.
• Hunt for NTB clients to expand the customer base.
• Manage relationships with commercial clients with ADB RM300K–RM1M.
• Promote and facilitate new active merchant signups for card services.
• Increase clients’ share of wallet by cross-selling deposit products.
• Collaborate with CBCs and branches to onboard cash management solutions.
• Focus on attracting new FX customers and increasing M2E and M2U counts.
• Implement salary crediting programs for both individual and corporate clients.
