Job summary

Maybank in Malaysia seeks an energetic commercial banking professional to drive new-to-bank NTB current accounts, grow deposits, and expand the bank's commercial client base. You will actively hunt NTB clients and manage relationships with commercial clients holding daily balances from RM300K to RM1M.

You will promote merchant card services, cross-sell Work+ and Digital banking solutions, collaborate with CBC and branches to onboard cash management, and focus on FX customers while boosting

Qualifications

• Proven track record in client acquisition and business development in banking or financial services.
• Experience in managing and growing deposit portfolios.
• Strong sales and negotiation skills with a proactive approach to business development.
• Excellent relationship-building and communication abilities.
• Deep understanding of deposit products and NTB client strategies.
• Familiarity with regulatory requirements and risk management.
• Results-oriented with a focus on achieving and exceeding targets.
• Dynamic, motivated, and adept at identifying growth opportunities.

Responsibilities

• Accountable for acquiring NTB commercial Current Accounts (CAs) and driving NTB total deposit growth within the commercial segment.
• Actively hunt NTB clients to expand the customer base.
• Manage relationships with commercial clients with ADB between RM300K and RM1M.
• Promote and facilitate new active merchant signups for card services.
• Increase clients’ share of wallet by cross-selling deposit products (Work+, Merchant services, Digital banking).
• Collaborate with CBCs and branches to onboard cash management solutions for commercial clients.
• Focus on attracting new FX customers and increasing M2E and M2U metrics in the business segment.
• Implement salary crediting programs for individuals and corporate clients (including Work+ Company NOC).
