Job summary

Hongrita Precision Component (M) Sdn Bhd in Penang is seeking a Project / NPI Engineer to drive new product introductions, prepare BOMs, and develop process work instructions.

You will collaborate with QA to tackle quality issues, implement continuous improvement, and coordinate the department’s efforts to meet customer requirements while delivering cost-effective manufacturing solutions.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Engineering or equivalent.
• 1–3 years hands-on experience as Project / NPI Engineer.
• Strong English, Mandarin communication.
• Self-motivated with good interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead new project activities and prepare BOM for new projects.
• Create process work instructions for new operations.
• Drive continuous improvement and innovative processes.
• Apply engineering principles to manage processes.
• Coordinate department efforts toward CI goals.
• Meet customer requirements and demands for quality.
• Liaise with QA to address quality issues and prevent recurrence.
• Produce quality products at optimum cost in manufacturing.
• Undertake other related tasks as directed by superior.
