Job summary

Private Advertiser in Malaysia (Johor Bahru) seeks a Program Manager to lead end-to-end NPI activities, drive product transfers, and manage mass production launches in injection moulding. You will coordinate cross-functional teams and ensure manufacturing readiness from kick-off to ramp‑up.

This role requires strong PM experience in plastics manufacturing, with a proven track record in NPI and production transfers. Occasional site collaboration and continuous improvement focus are expected.

Qualifications

• Minimum 8 years of project management experience in injection moulding, plastic manufacturing, precision manufacturing or related industries.
• Strong experience managing NPI, product transfer and mass production launch activities.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end NPI activities from initial project kick-off through mass production launch.
• Manage project timeline, milestones, risk assessment and action plans to ensure successful project delivery.
• Coordinate with customers and internal stakeholders including Engineering, Production, Quality, Tooling and Supply Chain teams.
• Review customer requirements, specifications, drawings, BOM and project documentation to ensure manufacturing readiness.
• Drive product transfer activities including prototype build, trial run, validation and production ramp-up.
• Support injection moulding process development and ensure product quality meets customer requirements.
• Coordinate tooling, mould development, engineering changes (ECN/ECO) and production readiness activities.
• Lead project meetings, track project progress and provide regular updates to customers and management.
• Identify project risks, resolve technical issues and drive corrective actions to ensure project objectives are achieved.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives to improve project execution, quality and production efficiency.
