Job summary

nSearch Global Pte Ltd in Malaysia seeks a Senior Manager, Engineering Program/Project Management to lead complex New Product Introduction (NPI) projects and cross-functional programs, acting as the primary bridge between global customers and internal teams to drive technical execution within time, scope, and budget.

This role demands deep NPI knowledge or semiconductor program experience, a strong engineering/business background, and proven leadership of multi-disciplinary teams.

Qualifications

• 12+ years of relevant experience in project management, marketing, or manufacturing industries.
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Management, or related field.
• Strong NPI knowledge OR Program Management experience from a semiconductor background.
• Deep understanding of manufacturing processes, production scheduling, and Supply Chain Management (SCM).
• Proven expertise in PM methodologies - Gantt charts, issue tracking, end-to-end NPI lifecycles.
• Strong commercial acumen: contracts, pricing negotiations, and business risk management.
• Excellent stakeholder management, negotiation, and communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
• Excellent command of written and spoken English.

Responsibilities

• Own the end-to-end program lifecycle - from Program Plan and WBS creation through execution, risk management, and closure.
• Serve as the primary client interface for NPI projects, leading global core teams through high-complexity, cross-functional delivery.
• Manage program budgets, forecasting actuals against plans for revenue, labor, and expenses.
• Track performance against phase gates and proactively manage project risk.
• Push technical boundaries on packaging solutions to optimize quality, cost, and cycle time.
• Coach and develop Program Core Team members while setting departmental goals and KPIs.
• Drive company-wide process improvements and strategic initiatives.
