Job summary

TF-AMD Penang is seeking an experienced Manufacturing/Process Engineer to lead NPI feasibility, characterization and qualification for new products, and to drive program management. You will coordinate with cross-functional teams, manage timelines, monitor yield and productivity, and document process changes while pursuing cost savings.

Strong communication and stakeholder management skills are required to succeed in a fast-paced environment with continuous improvement focus.

Qualifications

• 6–8 years’ or more of work experience, including 4–6 years’ manufacturing process expertise in a high-paced environment.
• Required skills: NPI, technical program management, assembly process engineering, process improvement, etc.
• Strong organizational and project coordination skills.
• Ability to manage timelines, milestones, and deliverables.
• Experience working with cross-functional teams.
• Good communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Problem-solving mindset with ability to manage risks and priorities.

Responsibilities

• Support product/NPI in feasibility, characterization and qualification.
• Manage DOE and optimization for evaluation study.
• Initiate/implement continuous improvement projects and process optimization.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams for scheduling and adjust timelines to ensure timely delivery.
• Communicate build timeline and progress to customers.
• Maintain engineering work details and monitor progress for schedule adjustments.
• Program management of new product introductions.
• Drive yield, quality and productivity improvement programs.
• Update and generate documentation for process-related changes.
• Drive process cost saving and simplification projects.
• Any other duties assigned from time to time.

Job Responsibilities:

• Support product/product NPI in feasibility, characterization and qualification.
• Manage to conduct DOE and optimization for evaluation study.
• Initiate/implement continuous improvement projects, process optimization and characterization for continual improvement.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams to gather inputs for scheduling and adjust timelines as needed to ensure timely delivery.
• Communicate to customer on the engineering build timeline and progress.
• Keep track and maintain on all engineering work details.
• Monitor progress and make adjustments to the schedule as necessary.
• Program Management of new products introduction.

Job Requirements:
