Job summary

Micron Technology, Inc is seeking a PDE PIE Engineer in Batu Kawan, Malaysia, to lead NPI activities and drive product introductions from concept to volume production. You will coordinate cross-functional teams, align start-up datelines with customer requirements, and ensure first-pass qualification while monitoring yield and reliability to maintain process control.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree in engineering, plus strong data analysis skills and JMP proficiency.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in engineering required.
Backend engineering process or package development experience preferred.
Willingness to learn technical knowledge in component test/manufacturing.
Understanding semiconductor package structures and reliability concepts.
Strong data analysis and interpretation with JMP proficiency.
Ability to use AI-assisted tools to improve productivity and decisions.

Responsibilities

Lead and manage NPI activities as Product Owner with cross-functional teams.
Drive New Product Introduction through NPI Phase Gate reviews.
Coordinate start-up of new products and achieve first-pass qualification.
Communicate product start-up datelines, applications, and customer requirements to the NPI team.
Collaborate with process/equipment/manufacturing/planning to bring product to volume production.
Monitor yield trends, reliability, and drive timely actions to keep assembly in control.
