Job summary

ResMed Inc in Malaysia is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to lead NPI manufacturing activities, develop processes, ensure equipment readiness, and drive continuous improvement to meet targets in yield, cost, and safety.

You will collaborate with Product Development, Quality, Production, and Supply Chain to translate designs into production-ready processes, provide training, and lead validation and handover to production.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field.
• 3+ years of manufacturing engineering/NPI experience.
• Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, validation, and tooling.
• GMP, quality systems, regulatory expectations in manufacturing.
• Lean/Six Sigma and data-driven problem solving experience.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and optimize manufacturing processes, equipment, tooling, routing, and documentation.
• Collaborate with Product Development for DFM/DFA input and manufacturability.
• Lead NPI activities including prototype builds, trials, testing, and handover.
• Troubleshoot and resolve manufacturing and equipment issues to improve yield and ramp-up.
• Establish and maintain SOPs, process flows, routings, and controlled documentation.
• Provide training and coaching on new equipment and processes.
• Drive continuous improvement using Lean, Six Sigma, GMP, and data analysis.
