Job summary

Plexus Corp. in Penang, Malaysia seeks an NPI Manager for high-mix, low-volume mechanical assembly. You will lead a cross-functional team, coordinating Customer focus, Engineering, Quality and Production to move complex products from concept to scalable production with speed and precision.

You will drive lean NPI methodologies, APQP, FAI, and qualification processes, optimize quotes and costs, and mentor a team to sustain Plexus Core Values in a fast-changing factory environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree required, preference for Engineering, Manufacturing, or related technical discipline.
• 5+ years of related experience in manufacturing, engineering, or NPI leadership.
• Experience in High-Mix, Low-Volume manufacturing environments.
• Equivalent combination of education and industry experience considered.

Responsibilities

• Optimize NPI for HMLV with lean, agile methodologies.
• Strategic customer alignment and proactive engagement for tooling, fixturing, line requirements.
• Architect robust technical frameworks; deploy APQP, FAI, and product qualifications.
• Protect profitability through quote-to-actual gap analyses on launches.
• Empower an agile team with coaching and succession planning.
